Marriage Minute 3-17-2019

A husband should know how his wife feels and receives love.  At times a husband needs coaching in this area.  It may take some communication from his wife to tell him plainly and lovingly, how he can love her better.

But be careful not to compare him with someone else’s husband because that will not be helpful.  Understanding your mate and meeting each other’s needs is important in a godly marriage.  Above all, the Lord must be at the center of your relationship, who will give you the power to “grow in grace” towards each other.

A good discipline is to start praying for your spouse and for God to make changes in your marriage.  Prayer will accomplish more than nagging or complaining.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always,  pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
