We welcome you to worship with us. Our Sunday Fellowship time begins at 9:00 a.m. Worship begins at 9:30 a.m.

We have a Bible hour for all ages at 10:45.

Our AWANA and Youth Group meets Sunday’s at 1:30 September-April with holiday breaks.

We have Faith Connections on Wednesday evening at 6:30 when we gather for prayer and then have a short Scripture study together. This week we will study Psalm 96 “The Lord Reigns”

New Courses in the Bible Hour Teens “Training for Life” A study in 1&2 Timothy and Titus. Meet in the Library with Jacob and Bethany. Adults  “Biblical Doctrine” by John Macarthur and Richard Mayhue Chapters 7, 8 and 9. 

Ladies of Faith July 9th Please prepare chapter 7 of Lies Women Believe for our time together  at 6:00 p.m. at Cori’s home, 5357 Horsehead Lake Road in Harshaw.

Men of Faith July 13th Plan to join the men at 7:00 a.m. for breakfast and an introduction to our new Bible study.

Church Picnic    Annual Church Picnic July 21st at Almon Park (Buck Lake) upper shelter 5340 Hixon Lake Rd. Rhinelander, WI 54501

We reserved the shelter for lunch and an afternoon of outdoor activities and fellowship. Remember to bring your own meat to grill plus one side dish and dessert to share.   Also bring your lawn chairs, favorite yard activities, swim wear (if desired), sunblock, and bug spray.

The Church will provide paper products, water, condiments, and charcoal.

Marriage Minute 7-7-2019

Your spouse deserves your first and best attention—a device does not.

Here are a few ways that we can prioritize our spouse above our phone in order to keep social media and marriage healthy.

1. Put your cellphones in a specific place at a particular time each night so that you can give your spouse and family your full focus.

2. Do your best to not be on a phone call or texting when you get home from work so that you can greet your spouse and kids with a smile and your best attention.

3. Share all your passwords with your spouse so that there are no secret interactions or accounts that your spouse isn’t aware of.

4. Don’t go searching for “old flames” on your social media, and don’t send them messages or respond to their posts. No good will come from this, and it will damage your spouse’s trust in you.

5. Install filtering software on all your devices (smartphones, laptops, e-readers, iPads, etc.) to block inappropriate websites and to monitor how much time you spend on your devices and different websites. You can even set time limits as well. A site/app to recommend is called Qustodio.

6. Don’t bring your phone to the dinner table, and don’t have it on the table during a date night. If you receive a call/text, ignore it and check it later when your family dinner or date is over.
