Marriage Minute March 10, 2019 Marriage can be compared to a football game. The Lord, as the coach, brought you together so you can become one and bring Him glory. The Head Coach gave us the playbook to study.

As a husband, (like the quarterback), our task is to know other players assignments for each play. A team that is hard to beat is one that executes the play as in the book. With the help of the Head Coach, a husband and wife will develop strong relationships and cherish their roles. We’ll be able to understand feelings, fears, and needs of each other. Your wife will feel understood and cared for by the leader of the team that she pledged her life to.

Philippians 2:3, “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.”

Husband’s Prayer: Lord, help me to love my wife in the ways that brings victory to Your name.

Wife’s Prayer: Lord, help me to submit to my husband who leads me to You and him more.
